๐ When and How to Opt for Free Printed Books
While filling the IGNOU admission form, youโll find an option:
โDo you want printed study material?โ
- โ๏ธ If you choose YES โ IGNOU will dispatch printed books to your address.
- โ If you choose NO โ You will only get access to digital study material.
โ ๏ธ You cannot change this option later, so choose wisely at the time of admission.
๐ฆ How to Track IGNOU Printed Books (Dispatch Status)
If you opted for printed books, you can track them as follows:

โ Step 2: Enter Your Enrollment Number and Program Code
You will see:
- ๐ฆ Book dispatch status (Dispatched/In Process)
- ๐ฎ Consignment number (for postal tracking)
- ๐ฌ Date of dispatch
- ๐ Address of delivery
๐ Common Issues with Printed Book Delivery
