My admission status is still showing Pending

Complaint: My admission status is still showing “Pending”.

Answer:

Your admission status showing “Pending” usually means that either your payment is under process or your documents are under verification.

👉 Here’s what you should do:

  1. Wait for 10–15 working days after submission — IGNOU admission confirmation may take time, especially during peak sessions (January/July).
  2. Login to https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ using your registered credentials and:
    • Recheck the status.
    • Verify whether all documents are uploaded clearly.
    • Check if payment is marked as “Success”.
  3. If payment is successful but status is still pending after 15 days:
    • Write an email to the concerned Regional Centre with your application number, payment receipt, and screenshot of the status.
    • You can also raise a query through the IGNOU Grievance Redressal Portal:

  4. You may also call or visit the Regional Centre for faster help if it’s urgent.
