4. Enrollment not received

Complaint: Enrollment number not received yet.

Answer:

If your admission is confirmed but the enrollment number is not yet issued, it could be due to delays in processing at the Regional Centre or university level.

👉 Here’s what you should do:

Step 1: Check Admission Confirmation

  • Login at 👉 https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
  • If your admission status shows “Confirmed”, then your enrollment number will be generated within 15–30 days after confirmation.

Step 2: Search on Student Portal

  • Visit 👉 https://admission.ignou.ac.in/changeadmdata/admissionstatusnew.asp
  • Enter your name and date of birth to search for your enrollment number if you didn’t get it via email or SMS.

Step 3: Check Email/SMS

  • IGNOU usually sends the Enrollment Number via email and SMS once it is generated.
  • Also, check your Spam or Promotions folders.

Step 4: If Still Not Received After 30 Days

  • Email your Regional Centre with:
    • Your Application Number
    • Program name
    • Payment receipt or admission confirmation proof
  • Subject: Request for Issuance of Enrollment Number

📌 Note:

  • July session enrollment numbers are usually issued between August and October.
  • January session enrollment numbers are generally issued between February and April.
