2. Offline submission

Complaint: Can I submit assignments offline?

Answer:

Yes, IGNOU students can submit assignments offline, but it depends on the Regional Centre/Study Centre instructions for that session.

👉 Offline Submission Process:

  1. Write assignments by hand (typed or printed assignments are not accepted).
  2. Attach the cover page (available on IGNOU website or given by study centre) with:
    • Name
    • Enrollment Number
    • Program Code & Course Code
    • Study Centre Code
    • Mobile & Email
  3. Make a PDF copy (optional) for your own record.
  4. Submit the hard copy at your Study Centre.
  5. Collect an acknowledgement receipt or signature from the study centre as proof.

👉 Important Notes:

  • Some RCs allow only offline submission (no Google Form/online link).
  • Some RCs (especially during COVID/post-COVID) allow both offline & online submission.
  • Always check the official notification of your Regional Centre website before submission.

📌 Tip:

Even if you submit offline, keep a scanned copy of your assignments—sometimes RCs ask for them again if records are misplaced.

✅ Offline Mode (Most Common at Study Centres)

Steps:

  1. Write assignments by hand (typed ones are not allowed).
  2. Attach the assignment cover page for each subject (includes name, enrollment number, course code, session, etc.).
  3. Compile and submit at your allotted Study Centre.
  4. Take a stamped acknowledgment slip/receipt after submission.

📌 Recommended for students in traditional Study Centres.
