2. Offline submission
✅ Complaint: Can I submit assignments offline?
✅ Answer:
Yes, IGNOU students can submit assignments offline, but it depends on the Regional Centre/Study Centre instructions for that session.
👉 Offline Submission Process:
- Write assignments by hand (typed or printed assignments are not accepted).
- Attach the cover page (available on IGNOU website or given by study centre) with:
- Name
- Enrollment Number
- Program Code & Course Code
- Study Centre Code
- Mobile & Email
- Make a PDF copy (optional) for your own record.
- Submit the hard copy at your Study Centre.
- Collect an acknowledgement receipt or signature from the study centre as proof.
👉 Important Notes:
- Some RCs allow only offline submission (no Google Form/online link).
- Some RCs (especially during COVID/post-COVID) allow both offline & online submission.
- Always check the official notification of your Regional Centre website before submission.
📌 Tip:
Even if you submit offline, keep a scanned copy of your assignments—sometimes RCs ask for them again if records are misplaced.
✅ Offline Mode (Most Common at Study Centres)
Steps:
- Write assignments by hand (typed ones are not allowed).
- Attach the assignment cover page for each subject (includes name, enrollment number, course code, session, etc.).
- Compile and submit at your allotted Study Centre.
- Take a stamped acknowledgment slip/receipt after submission.
