The assignment submission status is updated on the IGNOU portal, but it often takes time (sometimes 30–60 days) after submission due to verification and data entry delays.
👉 Steps to Check & Resolve:
- Check Assignment Status Online
- Visit: 👉 https://admission.ignou.ac.in/changeadmdata/StatusAssignment.ASP
- Enter your Enrollment Number & Program Code.
- Wait for Update
- Even if you submitted on time, status may show “Not Found” or “Not Updated” for weeks.
- Updates happen only after Regional Centre verifies and sends marks to SED (Student Evaluation Division).
- Keep Proof Safe
- If submitted online (Google Form/email) → keep acknowledgement email/PDF.
- If submitted offline (hard copy) → keep stamped receipt copy from Study Centre.
- If Status Not Updated Even After Results
- Write to your Regional Centre with proof.
