Learner Target Group
This programme is intended for candidates who have qualified UGC-CSIR-NET, as per the validity specified by the respective regulatory bodies.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility conditions:
Master’s Degree Route
- A 1-year / 2-semester Master’s Degree after a 4-year / 8-semester Bachelor’s Degree
OR - A 2-year / 4-semester Master’s Degree after a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree
OR - Equivalent qualifications recognized by the relevant statutory regulatory body
with:
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade
- Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS and other categories as per UGC norms
Four-Year Bachelor’s Degree Route
Candidates applying after a 4-year / 8-semester Bachelor’s Degree programme must have:
- Minimum 75% aggregate marks or equivalent grade
- Relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories as per UGC norms
M.Phil. Route
Candidates who have completed an M.Phil. Programme with:
- Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
- Relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories as per UGC norms
are also eligible for admission.
Foreign qualifications must be from institutions accredited or recognized by authorized accreditation agencies in their respective countries.
