350. PGDIS – Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security

The PGDIS – Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University is a specialized programme designed to provide knowledge and practical skills in information security, cyber security, network security, digital forensics, disaster recovery planning, and security management. The programme prepares learners for professional roles in the rapidly growing fields of cyber security and information technology security.

Programme Overview

Eligibility

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following criteria:

Option I

• B.Sc. (Computer Science)
• BCA
• B.Tech. (Computer Science)
• B.Tech. (Information Technology)
• Or equivalent qualification

Option II

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university/institute along with any one of the following:

• CIT / CIC / ACISE / CISE from IGNOU, or
• Certificate in Computer Science or Computer Applications from a government-recognized institute with a minimum duration of 6 months, or
• Computer course studied as part of Bachelor’s or Postgraduate curriculum

Option III

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least one year of work experience in Computer Applications or IT.

Fee Structure

• Programme Fee: ₹21,600 for the complete programme
• Additional Registration Fee and Development Fee will be charged as applicable.
