✅ Answer:

IGNOU final results (overall completion status) are declared only when all components of your programme (assignments, practicals, projects, theory exams) are successfully updated in the system.

📌 Why Final Result May Not Be Available

1. Pending Assignment / Project / Practical Marks – Even if TEE is cleared, missing internal marks can block the final result.
2. Result Declared in Phases – IGNOU releases results course-wise and in multiple updates.
3. Re-evaluation / Backlog – If you applied for re-evaluation, the final result may be delayed.
4. Technical Sync Issue – Sometimes grade card shows “Completed,” but final result/marksheet isn’t generated yet.

📌 Steps to Check & Resolve

1. Check Grade Card
   👉 IGNOU Grade Card Portal
   • If it shows “Completed” for all courses → wait for final consolidation.
   • If “Not Completed” → identify pending subjects.
2. Check Assignment/Project Status
   👉 Assignment Status Portal
   • If marks are missing, contact your RC with proof.
3. Contact Regional Centre (RC)
   • If all components are complete but final result not showing, write to your RC with enrollment details.
4. Email IGNOU HQ (if RC doesn’t resolve)
   • examresult@ignou.ac.in or srd@ignou.ac.in
   • Provide: Name, Enrollment No., Programme, Session, Proof of Submission, Grade Card Screenshot.

📌 Important Notes

• Final result usually takes 1–2 months after the last component (project/practical) is updated.
• Once available, the final result reflects in the consolidated grade card and your provisional certificate becomes ready.
• Without the final result, IGNOU does not issue Degree/Provisional Certificate.
