Yes, you can request to change the medium of study material (e.g., from Hindi to English or vice versa), but only within a limited time after admission, and subject to approval by IGNOU.

👉 Here’s what to do:

✅ Step 1: Check Medium Eligibility for Your Program

• Not all IGNOU programs are offered in multiple languages.
• Visit 👉 https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, select your program, and check if both Hindi/English mediums are available.

✅ Step 2: If Eligible, Submit a Request

Write an application to your Regional Centre stating:

• Full Name
• Enrollment Number
• Program Code
• Current Medium and Requested Medium
• Reason for change
• Session (e.g., July 2024)
• Copy of IGNOU ID card

📧 Email it to your Regional Centre or submit in person.

✅ Step 3: Confirm with RC

Call or visit your Regional Centre to confirm if the request has been forwarded and accepted. You may be asked to return the old books if already received.
